"Hey! I'm Kody. I'm 27, non-binary, and I live in San Diego with my corn snake, Imperator Furiosa. I have a B.A. in communication, and an M.A. in English and Creative Writing.

In my free time I love exploring cities, playing League of Legends, haunting coffee shops, or playing Magic: the Gathering in bars or kitchen tables. I usually listen to chillout/lounge or house music, especially tropical house.

I've loved speculative fiction since childhood, when I first discovered fantasy point-and-click adventure games like Riven: the Sequel to Myst or the Mata Nui Online Adventure Game. Emily Rodda's Deltora Quest played a pretty big part, too, as did Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

My dream is to one day finish my multi-part story about Kol Viri, an island setting inspired by these childhood loves. The first book is in the final stages of revision and editing, but the blog has definitely been left untouched for some time."
